Luisa Werneck
Luisa was born in Brazil, an only child with a love for the Lion King and a talent for listening to others. Along side a passion for the Disney classic, like any teen music is one of her passions. More specifically alternative music. Some favourite songs being Is There Somewhere by Halsey, Icarus by Bastille and Monsters and Mens' Little Talks. More favourites of another subject are the book It's Kind of a Funny Story, the film The Philosophers and the television show How to Get Away with Murder. Among the things she loves, there one thing she surely does not - as an introvert, cringe worthy moments are her worst nightmare. Now on an exchange program here in Kelowna, she chose to take Journalism for new experiences, greatly different from those she could have back home. Lu is taking physics and drafting as well; a future engineer in the making. Past all these classes, that is what she hopes to do - other than traveling across Europe of course. Through childhood in Brazil, schooling in Canada and a future coming up quick, one quote sticks with Luisa.

"All abyss is navigable by paper boats."
