Carson Adams, Editor

Carson is a grade 12 student at Kelowna Secondary School, and was born and raised in Kelowna. This is his third year taking Journalism, and he’s also taking several social studies and advanced placement courses as he is passionate about humanitarianism, activism, and progressiveness. Carson is committed to reducing his footprint through the responsible consumption of food, clothes, transportation, and keeping a mindful outlook. Since the beginning of the pandemic, he has tried to be more vocal with his activism in attending protests, and self-educating. He hopes to help bring about meaningful change to the world one day, and leave it better than he found it.

Right now, Carson works at a thrift store, working with the community through the donation center. He hopes to pursue a career that involves some community outreach through journalism and art, like maybe a radio host, journalist, photographer, or another profession that may present itself. Or better yet, his dream job involves traveling and getting away from the familiar. However his career ends up manifesting, he is happy to be spending the rest of his High School journey in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Carson wants to challenge what you already believe with his writing, and get you to reflect on relevant world issues. So put your thinking cap on, and get a load of his perspective.
