We as human beings are prone to make mistakes, while on the other hand, robots and artificial intelligence are programed to do a perfect job every time. As there are many advantages to machines, the down side is that they have slowly been taking jobs away from millions of people throughout the years.

A survey showed that 38% of jobs in the USA are at risk of being replaced. The variety of robots being invented especially today has been a big concern for many people in many different careers such as trades, pharmacy, store clerks and lawyers. There are many logical reasons to why artificial intelligence replacing jobs has been on the rise.
Robots are programed to be perfect while getting the job done in over double the time that a human can. They are cheaper than paying employees. In the United States many major retailers such as Walmart have had to increase their minimum wages to gain the employees they need, and by bringing in robots they can avoid these issues. Other than taking jobs away from humans they have many, many advantages which is why they are taking over.

Some believe robots will take over the world because of how smart they are becoming, while others think we have to power to stop them if they become too powerful. One source says, “Once they do become powerful enough to start taking over they will do so successfully, It has been working so far.” Reasearch shows that by 2030, robots may steal around 40% more jobs than the 38% they have already taken. The real question is how are they going to affect you in the upcoming future?
