There has never been a player as offensively dominant as James Harden. When it comes to the NBA a lot of people name the top 5 players in order the list is LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden. This is the farthest thing from true! When it comes to offense James Harden is an absolute monster averaging 29.0 points per game, 7.5 assists per game, and 6.1 rebounds per game. It’s become obvious he is offensively the best player in the league. Despite knowing this people choose to overlook him because of his lack of effort on defense. Harden is so god-like on offense that he has to rest on defense to recover his energy otherwise such outstanding offensive ability and effort would be impossible. Now that he has been switched from shooting guard to point guard he will have even more time with the ball and have even higher averages so people are going to hold him in higher regards after this season. I predict he will win MVP and take his team the Houston Rockets to the quarter-finals.

Who are the NBA’s top 5 players? I would say it goes;

  1. Is obviously James Harden.
  2. Is the king LeBron James
  3. Is one of the best 3pt shooters Steph Curry
  4. Is lockdown defender Kawhi Leonard
  5. Is the warriors new signing Kevin Durant

I believe James Harden is number 1 because of the reasons previously stated. I put LeBron James at number 2 because although he is declining he is still one of the most dominant players of all time both defensively and offensively. Steph Curry is at number 3 because he has won MVP and is one of the best 3pt shooters of all time. Kawhi Leonard deserves 4th because not only is he the best defensive player in the league he is very reliable on offense averaging over 20 points per game. Kevin Durant deserves 5th because he is very tall but doesn’t suffer because of it, his shot is still as deadly as any guards.
