Beauty and the Beast

On March 17th, 2017, the live-action Beauty and the Beast film comes out in theaters. Words cannot express how overjoyed this makes me! Growing up with watching Beauty and the Beast on VHS was so spectacular to me, the words and songs are forever in my head.

Now, watching my little sister go through the same, I feel nostalgic. Sadly, I can’t relive the same memories over, I can’t watch the movie for the first time again. However, with a stupendous cast, and the anticipation of my four-year-old self, I get to see this one for the first time. Plus, let’s be honest, is there anyone more perfect to play Belle than Emma Watson?

From all the things I’ve read about the new movie, I know it’s been reinvented in the best possible ways. The film is directed by Bill Condon, who also directed the last two twilight films. He has a lot of expectations to live up to, and from the looks of it, he probably will.

With beautiful looking cinematography, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Every teenager and adult who grew up with these movies will be rushing the lines to get a seat. Make way for the waterworks, I’m sure to cry. You can expect a glowing review about the movie from me right after it comes out.

I feel live-action movies are an astounding idea, and bring back some magic everyone has started to lose. In my heart I know that the magic and the rose will never die.
