Was Untitled Unmastered mastered?

With hardly any advertising Kendrick Lamar dropped his new album featuring 8 new joints all without title. I would consider this album as good, although I thought there were some flaws. Those flaws are how fast the album was released, the amount of songs, and the album art. Although I like anything by Black Hippy and its members I feel as though this album was pushed out to fast. One indication this album was put out to quickly would be the amount of songs. On the album there were only 8 tracks. In the majority of successful rap albums made there are usually 11 – 15 tracks.

Which tracks are good? Although music is almost all personal opinion I would recommend tracks ‘untitled 02’, ‘untitled 07’, and ‘untitled 08’. Track ‘untitled 02’ I would recommend for those who like more aggressive gangsta rap, this track combines killer old school lines with a twist of modern rap and Kendrick’s signature jazz beats. This song would be a good song to have on your party playlist. Track ‘untitled 08’ I would recommend it because of its catchy hook and complex verses, this is a very smooth but upbeat song. This would be a song I’d listen to while walking or going for a run. For track ‘untitled 07’ I’d recommend it for going to the gym because of its quality of producing. Whether it’s treble or bass your looking for this song has it along with personal lyrics.

Overall I would give this album an 8.5/10 its lyrics are original and quite good but just to repetitive in some of the tracks. I think that so far in 2016 this is a top 3 album, but that’s not a solid position being as the year is still beginning especially with albums from A$AP Ferg and Schoolboy Q to be expected.
